👋 Hi, I'm Dr. Vivek Shilimkar. I’m a climate scientist by education and a Site Reliability Engineer by profession at Improving, where I work with Kubernetes, Rancher, and cloud-native infrastructure. I write about everything from virtual clouds to the real ones in the sky. When I’m not studying ocean currents or optimizing compute clusters, I’m usually hiking remote trails, camping by lakes, or stargazing under wide open skies.
